...working in the rag trade pushes one's tolerance levels to new heights. after a week of being surrounded, i can only conclude that some form of the boat/deck shoe is the 'new' ed hardy tee.

this kid i used to run with always got away with everything. each weekend became a contest to see just how far we could take it. after numerous attempts of one-upping each other, let's just say it culminated one cool summer night about suppertime. the theft of a deli tray, lazy-susan from the local grocer found its way thru the large picture window of the chief of police...needless to say, he won. this blog will honor that original spirit of mayhem and offense.

Couldn't disagree more. Sperry Top-Siders actually have a respectable history behind them. Ed Hardy, well that is almost completely fictional...save the name. Because they are both popular doesn't make them similar. Long after Sperry's dip below the surface of pop culture and back into the hands of us preps, Ed Hardy will be bankrupt and moving on to something else...just like Von Dutch gave birth to Ed Hardy.
